Does every item in the room have to be high-end to make the space look expensive? I mean…it helps ? LOL. The honest answer is not necessarily. The most important thing, in my opinion, is to know and own your style (and your home style of course) and be consistent and cohesive in your application. What that means to you may look very different to mine, but regardless, don’t try to decorate your home like someone else does (unless you really like it). Instead, surround yourself with things you’re constantly drawn to and keep ROCK IT. The house did not get published in Architecture Digest because it looked like something bought 100% in a big box store. No, sir, to get a high-end magazine, your house has to be careful.
